“…This Is The Supernatural Finger of God…”
“Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the [supernatural] finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.” Exodus 8:19 (Amp)
Today we begin to encounter the ministry and call of Moses and Aaron as they do the work of the Lord. They are encouraging Pharoah to let God’s people go, so that they can serve God. The Scripture says the Lord sent frogs and then gnats and insects because Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and then Pharaoh’s magicians tried their sorcery but to no avail, the scripture says, Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the [supernatural] finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened and he would not listen to them, just as the Lord had said.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s remember that the children of God was in the protected and wealthy land of Goshen and Pharoah refused to let God’s people go. In this chapter we see God making His presence and His power known at the hand and prayers of Aaron and Moses.
Today let us be mindful that at our word Gods is able and ready to reveal His presence and His power in our lives and in our situations. Let’s honor God today because, this is the supernatural finger of God!
