“…Do Not Go With Them…”
“God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them; you shall not curse the people [of Israel], for they are blessed.” Numbers 22:12 (AMP)
Today we read and we learn about a famous Prophet named Balaam. In our verse God speaks to Balaam and our scripture says, God said to Balaam, “Do not go with them; you shall not curse the people [of Israel], for they are blessed.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers remember Israel, God’s chosen people in prayer, remember to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, (Psm 122:6).
This chapter shares with us about a wicked King named Balak who attempts to entice the Prophet Balaam to curse Israel. Balaam entreats the Lord for guidance and direction and God speaks to the prophet Balaam regarding king Balak’s request.
Today in our prayers let’s be mindful to only speak in prayer what God declares, let’s be prayerful and discerning to pray only what God says, let us be mindful not to go with the wicked, but let’s be still and hear what God has said, Do not go with them!
