“…There Is No God In Israel…”
“But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, “ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?’” 2 Kings 1:3 (AMP)
So Today we continue in God’s Word in the 2nd book of Kings and we become familiar with the Prophet Elijah and his encounter with Ahaziah the King of Israel. In our verse we see the Prophet Elijah receiving instruction and a word from the Lord, the scripture says, But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, “ Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say to them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron?
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us be mindful to search out and seek out God always and intentionally in every matter in our lives. Let us know to reach for God first in all things because we don’t want to inquire of any other god, nor the god of Ekron.
Let be mindful to know first hand, if it is because there is no God to in Israel!
