“…The Lord God Has Given Me…”
“The Lord God has given Me [His Servant] the tongue of disciples [as One who is taught], That I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple [as One who is taught].” Isaiah 50:4 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of Isaiah we learn God, we learn the ways of God, we learn the things of God, as the book of Isaiah declares, “The Lord God has given Me [His Servant] the tongue of disciples [as One who is taught], That I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple [as One who is taught].”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we can do nothing at all without the Lord, today our prayer in all humility remains Lord God continue to grant us the tongue of disciples, continue Lord God to grant us to know how to sustain Your weary with a word, Continue oh dear God to awaken us morning by morning and awaken our ear to listen as a disciple, declaring in all humility the Lord God has given me!
