“Is There No Balm In Gilead?…”
“Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has not the [spiritual] health of the daughter of my people been restored?” Jeremiah 8:22 AMP
Today as we continue in the book of Jeremiah, we see the plight and the condition of the children of Israel because of their sin, this is a question we must ask ourselves and we know the answer is yes, but only through God alone, as the scripture declares, “Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then has not the [spiritual] health of the daughter of my people been restored?”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, as the Lord God continues to lead our lives towards Spiritual health and restoration, we know that there is a balm in Gilead and that balm, that Spiritual health and divine restoration is Christ Jesus, even as the world continues to ask, is there no balm in Gilead?
