“…So The Lord Stirred Up The Spirit…”

“So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God,” Haggai‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬ ‭(AMP‬‬)

Today the Lord leads us into the book of Haggai, he is another minor prophet in our Old Testament scriptures, he shares a prophetic message of God to rebuild the temple after exile in Babylon, our verse today declares, “So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God,”

Today as we take a moment in prayer, we remember the divine importance of God’s timing, we remember to seek the heart of God for rebuilding His temple. I want us to remember that we are the temple of God, (1 Cor 3:16). So, today let’s get to rebuilding our temples, maybe God put it on your heart to pray for someone, or maybe now is the time to go and checkup on that old friend the Lord placed on your mind, because God’s word declares, So the Lord stirred up the spirit!
