“…But Appoint The Levites…”
“But appoint the Levites over the tabernacle (sanctuary) of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings and all things that belong to it. They shall carry the tabernacle [when traveling] and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it and camp around it.” Numbers 1:50 (AMP)
Today we move into a brand new book of the Bible, the Lord ministers about the importance of being in His number, the importance of our heavenly legacy, today God’s word shares, “But appoint the Levites over the tabernacle (sanctuary) of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings and all things that belong to it. They shall carry the tabernacle [when traveling] and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it and camp around it.”
Today as we take a moment in prayer, are we in God’s census, when He calls His roster will we be on His list, Today in the book of Numbers the Levites are called and appointed by God to their divine place over the tabernacle, the sanctuary of the Lord to carry it, care for it and camp around it. Today through Christ Jesus we are God’s royal priesthood (1 Ptr 2:9), we are placed over our sanctuary, our tabernacle because we are God’s temple, (1 Cor 6:19), as God’s word declares, “But appoint the Levites over the tabernacle (sanctuary) of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings and all things that belong to it. They shall carry the tabernacle [when traveling] and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it and camp around it.”
