“…David Said To Him…”
“David said to him, “How is it that you were not afraid to put out your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?” 2 Samuel 1:14 (AMP)
Today we move into the book of 2 Samuel and we meet David after hearing of King Saul and Jonathan, Saul’s son death, the scripture says, “David said to him, “How is it that you were not afraid to put out your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?””
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, the scripture reminds us as it declares, in Psalms, touch not my anointed, and today David show us that we are not to put out our hand against God’s anointed. David shares this with the sojourner as he prepares to mourn the death of King Saul and his son Jonathan, as God’s word declares, David said to him!
