“…Go At Once To King David…”
“Go at once to King David and say to him, ‘Did you not, my Lord, O king, swear to your maidservant, saying, “Solomon your son shall certainly be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then has Adonijah become king?” 1 Kings 1:13 (AMP)
Today we move into the book of 1 Kings and we experience the dynamics of King David and his sons, the scripture shares, “Go at once to King David and say to him, ‘Did you not, my Lord, O king, swear to your maidservant, saying, “Solomon your son shall certainly be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then has Adonijah become king?’”
Today as we take a moment in prayer, we come to understand the dynamics of King David and his sons, we come to experience the power and the protocol of succession in God. It is God who called Solomon to proceed King David, it is God who called Solomon to build God’s temple because King David could not, today the scripture declare, “Go at once to King David!
