“…Then David Said…”
“Then David said, “This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.” 1 Chronicles 22:1 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of 1 Chronicles we learn more about King David and his son Solomon, and King David’s preparation to build God’s temple, the scripture shares, “Then David said, “This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, the scripture reminds us that we are to prepare for the presence of God, that we are to allow a sanctified place in and with God, the house of the Lord, a place to offer unto God, knowing that the scripture declares our body is the temple of God, ( 1 Cor 6:19), even as our scripture today declares, Then David Said!
