“…Then He Said To Them…”
“Then he said to them, “Levites, listen to me! Now consecrate (dedicate) yourselves and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and get the filth [of idol worship] out of the Holy Place.” 2 Chronicles 29:5 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of 2 Chronicles, we learn more about King Hezekiah, we learn that he did good in the sight of the Lord and he commanded the levites to consecrate and remove the filth of idol worship, the scripture says, “Then he said to them, “Levites, listen to me! Now consecrate (dedicate) yourselves and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and get the filth [of idol worship] out of the Holy Place.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, what has creeped into our lives as idol worship, is it our favorite sports team, or our favorite R&B music genre, is it our fashion or jewelry, today the Lord remind us through His word to consecrate the house of the Lord, get the filth out, as God’s word declare, Then He Said To Them!
