“…Do You Hear The Secret Counsel of God…”
“Do you hear the secret counsel of God, And do you limit [the possession of] wisdom to yourself?” Job 15:8 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of Job, we come to hear and experience Eliphaz the Temanite’s argument and accusations, as he in all his wisdom try and understand Job’s loss and suffering, the scripture says, ““Do you hear the secret counsel of God, And do you limit [the possession of] wisdom to yourself?”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we recognize that it is easy to allow our wisdom to get ahead of God, especially when we encounter things we don’t understand and things we can’t explain. We are reminded that we do not control the secret counsel of God, nor do we limit God’s wisdom to ourselves. This is a sober reminder that the answer is always in God alone, as God’s word state, Do you hear the secret counsel of God!
