Do Not Be Afraid Because of Them…
“Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow by this time I am going to hand over all of them slain [by the sword] to Israel; you shall hamstring (disable) their horses and set fire to their chariots.” Joshua 11:6 (Amp)
This verse reveals to us the growing relationship Joshua is experiencing with the Lord of Host. There are amazing encounters, Joshua experiences God in a way different than Moses as he continues to pursue and be obedient to God and to all that Moses commanded. These encounters are precedent, the Sun stands still, God drops large stones of hail on the enemy, and all of Canaan is conquered.
Today let’s take a moment, let’s reflect on the encounters God the Lord of host has revealed in our lives. Let’s thank Him our God, the Lord of Host, the Lord of Heaven’s armies…
