“…I Have Found the Book…”
“Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house (temple) of the Lord.” 2 Kings 22:8 (Amp)
The nature of Hilkiah’s statement brings into reality the condition and state of the region and God’s chosen people Israel.
The book of the Law was lost and had been found, this means an opportunity for repentance, restoration, and reconciliation to God.
Today let’s take a moment, lets reflect on the Book of the Law, God’s Word. Let’s be in a place of repentance, let’s yield fully for restoration and reconciliation to a greater place in God.
Let’s petition God to bring us through His Word to a predestined, preordained place with Him and in Him.
Lord cause us to find the Book of the Law in the house (temple of the Lord.) Amen!
