…I Will Give Them A Heart To Know Me…
“I will give them a heart to know Me, [understanding fully] that I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.”
Jeremiah 24:7 (Amp)
In today’s verse, Jeremiah is in the council of the Lord, he shares with the Lord what he sees, he sees two baskets of figs, God then responds in council regarding the two baskets of figs and He goes on to declare, “I will give them a heart to know Me, [understanding fully] that I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with their whole heart.”
Today as we take a moment in prayer, let our petitions be that God finds us in the basket of good figs, so that we can live out God’s declaration, “I will give them a heart to know Me…”
Let us petition God today as He enables us, provides for us, encourages, strengthens and keeps us to live a life that allow God to declare to us, I will give them a heart to know Me!
