“…I Will Most Certainly Hear Their Cry…”
“If you harm or oppress them in any way, and they cry at all to Me [for help], I will most certainly hear their cry;” Exodus 22:23 (AMP)
Today we are in the 22nd Chapter of the book of Exodus, we encounter God’s divine instruction and guidance concerning property rights and various laws, Moses tells us about the penalty for oppression, the scripture says, If you harm or oppress them in any way, and they cry at all to Me [for help], I will most certainly hear their cry;
Today let’s take a moment in our prayers, first prayer for the oppressed and then also prayer for the oppressor. We pray for healing and deliverance from whatever caused the mindset and nature to oppress and we pray for those who become prey and victims to oppression.
Let’s be reminded that we could be the ones being oppressed and we could also be the ones causing the oppression. Let us pray and ask the Lord to hear us and deliver the oppressed and the oppressors, because His word declares, If you harm or oppress them in any way, and they cry at all to Me [for help], I will most certainly hear their cry;
