“…But Gideon Said To Them…”
“But Gideon said to them, “I will not rule over you, and my son will not rule over you; the Lord shall rule over you.” Judges 8:23 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of Judges, we encounter Gideon, God’s military leader, Judge, and Prophet, the scripture shares, “But Gideon said to them, “I will not rule over you, and my son will not rule over you; the Lord shall rule over you.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us be mindful to always point to God and point to the things of God, let us be as Gideon and not seek to rule others, but seek to encourage others to allow the Lord to rule, as God’s word declare, But Gideon said to them!
