“…Bear With Me…”

“Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you, That there is yet more to say on God’s behalf.” Job 36:2 (AMP)

Today we encounter Elihu, another of Job’s friends in addition to Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, who the commentary says is the younger. Elihu speaks of God’s dealings with men, reminding Job and also reminding us that no matter the suffering and loss we have no right or justification to complain against God, Elihu shares declaring, Bear with me a little while there’s more to say on God’s behalf, the scripture says, “Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you, That there is yet more to say on God’s behalf.

Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we are reminded that there is more to say on God’s behalf, we are also reminded that Elihu the younger of Job’s friends asked that Job bear with him a little longer. Often times we don’t have the whole picture, but God does, often times we can only speak of what our limited knowledge and capacity contains. Today Elihu continues his speaking to show Job there is yet more to say on God’s behalf. Today let’s continue to honor and praise and reverence God, let’s continue in God who has the entire picture, so bear with me…
