“…Who Is Like The Wise Man?…”
“Who is like the wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a matter? A man’s wisdom illumines his face, And causes his stern face to beam.” Ecclesiastes 8:1 (AMP)
Today the Lord introduces us to the state of the wise man, this is a wonderful chapter in the book of Ecclesiastes because it provides insight on who we are without God and it reveals the truth about our limited capacity, the scripture ask, “Who is like the wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a matter? A man’s wisdom illumines his face, And causes his stern face to beam.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we find courage and reverence in our humble state before God, we don’t rush out of His presence, but we continue to seek His face in all things. God knows man’s wisdom is futile, but He is there with us every step of the way, guiding us to what brings Him glory and honor, because who is like the wise man?
