“…Then I Will Set On His Shoulder…”
“Then I will set on his shoulder the key of the house of David; When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.” Isaiah 22:22 (AMP)
Today the Lord continues to lead us deeper into the book of Isaiah, He shares another oracle about the valley of vision, in our verse He tells us about the Peg, His servant Eliakim, the scripture says, “Then I will set on his shoulder the key of the house of David; When he opens no one will shut, When he shuts no one will open.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we are reminded of God’s key, the key when it opens no one will shut, the key that shuts and no one will open. God has set upon our shoulders the key of the house of David. Let us be forever reminded that the Lord God declares, “Then I will set on his shoulder!
