“…Achsah Answered…”
“Achsah answered, “Give me a blessing; since you have given me the [dry] land of the Negev (South country), give me springs of water, too.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.” Joshua 15:19 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of Joshua, we are in a different time and a different era, but the divine wisdom of God necessary to thrive remains essential, here in our verse the Lord shows us that Achsah was wise enough to ask her father Caleb for a blessing, she was wise enough to know and see that she would need water in her dry land, God’s word shares, “Achsah answered, “Give me a blessing; since you have given me the [dry] land of the Negev (South country), give me springs of water, too.” So he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us not fail to seek the face of the Lord for His divine wisdom, let us recognize the dry land given and ask the Father for springs of water, and as scripture reveals God provides springs of living water, (John 7:38), as God’s word declare, Achsah Answered!
