“…Saul Said To Him…”

“Saul said to him, “Why have you and the son of Jesse conspired against me, in that you have given him bread and a sword and have inquired of God for him, so he would rebel against me by lying in ambush, as he does this day?” 1 Samuel‬ ‭22‬:‭13‬ ‭(AMP‬‬)

Today as we continue in the book of 1 Samuel, we experience the weight of the tension Saul has against David, in this chapter we come to see that it is unrelenting, the scripture says, “Saul said to him, “Why have you and the son of Jesse conspired against me, in that you have given him bread and a sword and have inquired of God for him, so he would rebel against me by lying in ambush, as he does this day?”

Today as we take a moment in our prayers, it should always be easier to make friends than enemies, but in the reality of life we come to recognize that not everyone can be a friend, and the Lord leads us to be wise through the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit, as God’s word reveals, Saul said to him!
