“…Then Achish Called David…”
“Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the Lord lives, you have been upright (righteous), and your behavior in the army is pleasing in my sight. For from the day you came to me to this day I have found no evil in you. Nevertheless, the [Philistine] Lords do not approve of you.” 1 Samuel 29:6 (AMP)
Today as we finish 1 Samuel and prepare to move into 2 Samuel, the Lord reminds us that He is the one who affirms and confirms our uprightness, He is our Righteousness, as God’s word shares, “Then Achish called David and said to him, “As the Lord lives, you have been upright (righteous), and your behavior in the army is pleasing in my sight. For from the day you came to me to this day I have found no evil in you. Nevertheless, the [Philistine] Lords do not approve of you.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us continue to cultivate our uprightness, let us continue to cultivate God’s righteousness, as God’s word declare, Then Achish Called David!
