“…Nevertheless, For David’s Sake…”
“Nevertheless, for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp (descendant on the throne) in Jerusalem, setting up his son after him and establishing Jerusalem,” 1 Kings 15:4 (AMP)
Today as we continue in the book of 1 Kings, we learn that the Lord Keeps His promise, we learn that God gave King David a lamp, as descendent, whom the scripture says, heart was devoted to the Lord. Today our scripture shares, “Nevertheless, for David’s sake the Lord his God gave him a lamp (descendant on the throne) in Jerusalem, setting up his son after him and establishing Jerusalem,”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers with our hearts devoted to the Lord, we become a lamp, because of the shed blood of Christ Jesus our Lord, today we live in and we walk out, as the scripture says, Nevertheless, for David’s sake!
