“…This Is [The Fulfillment Of] The Word…”
“This is [the fulfillment of] the word of the Lord which He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons (descendants) shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” And so it came to pass.” 2 Kings 15:12 (AMP)
Today, as we continue in the book of 2 Kings we experience the kings of Israel, we learn of Jehu, the commentary reminds us that he was a military commander and anointed by God as king, a religious reformer, as the scripture share, “This is [the fulfillment of] the word of the Lord which He spoke to Jehu, saying, “Your sons (descendants) shall sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.” And so it came to pass.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, the Lord reminds us that He keeps His promises, the Lord shows us that He fulfills His word, as the scripture declares, This Is The Fulfillment of the Word!
