“…Thus Says Cyrus King Of Persia…”
““Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.” Ezra 1:2 (AMP)
Today as we go into the book of Ezra, we learn a bit about King Cyrus, we learn that he was used of the Lord to build God a house at Jerusalem, the scripture shares, ““Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.”
Today as we take a moment in prayer, we are reminded to seek God as we build Him a house in our heart and lives, even as King Cyrus was used of the Lord, may our hearts and lives always be ready before the Lord, as God’s word declare, Thus says Cyrus king of Persia!
