“…For We Are Only Of Yesterday…”
“For we are only of yesterday and know nothing, Because our days on earth are [like] a shadow [just a breath or a vapor].” Job 8:9 (AMP)
Today we continue in the book of Job and we meet Bildad the Shuhite one of Job’s companions and Bildad states his argument against Job and against Job’s loss and against Job’s suffering. Bildad reminds us that our days are few, a breath or a Vapor and we don’t know much, as God’s word share, “For we are only of yesterday and know nothing, Because our days on earth are [like] a shadow [just a breath or a vapor].”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, since we don’t know much and we are only a few days in comparison to our parents and God, what will we do with our few days, will we spend this time to gripe and complain, will we spend this time to judge and ridicule others, or will we use our few days to honor God, as God’s word declare, For we are only of yesterday!
