The Stages of the Journeys…
“These are the stages of the journeys of the Israelites, by which they came out of the land of Egypt by their [tribal] armies, under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.” Numbers 33:1
In this chapter we learn of the 42 stages the children of Israel experienced before entering the promise. It was 42 Stages, 42 Stops, 42 Locations before the Lord deemed them ready to inherit the promise. I believe these 42 Stages were about being able and ready to take possession of their inheritance.
Where are you today, like the children of Israel have you failed enough, cried enough, toiled enough, endured enough for God to deem you ready to take possession of your inheritance.
Let’s take a moment today and pray, let us ask God to help us in the Stages of our journeys in life. Let us not fail too much, let us not falter too much, but may He cause us to endure so He deems us ready to take possession of the inheritance.
