“…Oh, That I Had One To Listen To Me!…”

“Oh, that I had one to listen to me! Look, here is my signature (mark); Let the Almighty answer me! Let my adversary write out His indictment [and put His vague accusations in tangible form].”

Job 31:35 (Amp)

Today’s verse reveals strong evidence that Job is in a crucial time. In earlier verses we experienced his lost of everything, most importantly the lost of his closeness with God. Also in the worst days of his life his friends ridicule him. It’s clear he’s at the end of his wisdom and understanding, at this point there is not one person on earth to meet him where he is and listen!

Today we should be compelled to wait on the Lord in prayer, let’s reflect on the goodness of the Lord, His mercies and compassions that fail us not.

Let’s pray and ask the Lord for those whom may be at this crucial time in their relationship and walk with God, Let us declare for them that they would have someone to listen!
