“…And the lookout called like a lion…”
“And the lookout called like a lion, “O Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower by day, And I am stationed every night at my guard post.” Isaiah 21:8 (Amp)
As we comb through the sixty-five chapters in Isaiah, we land here, as the Lord graphically deals with His enemies.
Here at this point in the book of Isaiah, the watchman is given an assignment and his response to what God has already revealed, is to call like a lion and the watchman calls…I stand continually on the watchtower by day, And I am stationed every night at my guard post.
Today as we take a moment, in our prayers, may the Lord grant us the enablement to call like a lion in our prayers and may He affirm in us to continually stand and be stationed in prayer every night in watch against the plans, tactics, and attacks of the enemy of our soul, Let God be Glorified!
