“…The Breaker Shall Go Up Before Them…”
“The breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them]. They will break out, pass through the gate and go out; So their King goes on before them, The Lord at their head.” Micah 2:13 (Amp)
In today’s verse we arrive in the book of Micah, a minor prophet whose life was predestined to prophecy God’s judgement and blessings on Israel. Micah prophesy hope of a breaker, the Messiah when he says, “The breaker [the Messiah, who opens the way] shall go up before them [liberating them]. They will break out, pass through the gate and go out; So their King goes on before them, The Lord at their head.”
Israel in today’s verse are given hope, The Breaker, The Messiah will open the way and go before them, they will break out, pass through their enemies gates, their King goes on before them, and the Lord is at their head. Micah has prophesied victory for Israel’s future!
Today as we take a moment in prayer, let us be reminded of The Breaker, The Messiah who opens the way and goes before us. Let us be reminded of divine enablement to break out and pass through the enemies gates, because our King goes before us and the Lord is at our head.
Today in our prayers let us honor God for His victory because The Breaker shall go up before them!
