…Behold, The Virgin Shall Be With Child…
“ Behold, the virgin shall be with child and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel ”—which, when translated, means, “ God with us.” Matthew 1:23 (AMP)
In today’s verse we encounter a prophetic declaration about Mary, the birth of Jesus and His name Immanuel, God with us. He is the Messiah and Savior of the world. This is where we find the true meaning of Christmas which is declared in scripture which says “ Behold, the virgin shall be with child and give birth to a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel ”—which, when translated, means, “ God with us.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s genuinely thank God for a Virgin birth, let’s thank God for His son Jesus and the declaration of His name Immanuel which means God with us, because of the birth and life of Jesus we are saved, because of birth and life of Jesus, Immanuel, God is with us. Thank God now for the unction and the power of the Holy Spirit and faith to believe, Behold the Virgin shall be with child!
