“…There Are Few Who Find It…”
“But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:14 (Amp)
As we close the chapter of this year and walk into a new year our verse today reminds us about a small gate, a narrow and difficult path that leads the way to everlasting life and few find it! The key to God’s everlasting life is Jesus and this is revealed in the depth of this scripture which says, But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.
Today as we take a moment in prayer, the last few moments of this year, let us be mindful of Christ Jesus who has paid the way on the cross by the shedding of His blood, the only one worthy as declared in the book of Revelations and today this verse tells us small is the gate and narrow and difficult is the way that leads to everlasting life and few find it, we are that few.
Let us in our prayers take charge in this new year to share with others, to reach others for Christ because small is the gate and narrow and difficult is the path that leads the way to everlasting life and there are few who find it!
