“…Do You Hear What These Children Are Saying?…”
“and they said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus replied to them, “Yes; have you never read [in the Scripture], ‘Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have prepared and provided praise for Yourself’?”

There are a lot of significant revelations in this chapter, but in this verse the chief priest and scribes in astonishment, asked Jesus a question, scripture says and they said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus replied to them, “Yes; have you never read [in the Scripture], ‘Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have prepared and provided praise for Yourself’?”
Today as we take a moment in prayer and reflect on this keen insight at the top of this new year, let’s be mindful of the children. This prophecy is fulfilled from the book of Psalms, God has prepared and provided praise for Himself out of the mouths of infants and babes, who declare Hosanna to the Son of David in praise and adoration.
Let us not miss it, let us not be in astonishment only, but let us move to experience a praise and adoration prepared and provided by God. We are God’s children, let us declare Hosanna to the Son of David, so that all those watching in astonishment can ask the question, “ Do you hear what these children are saying?”
