“…In Him was Life…”
“In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men.” John 1:4 (AMP)
Today we start in the book of John, and today’s verse speaks to us about Life in Him, scripture says, In Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men.
As we take a moment and reflect on that verse today, we find the affirmation that life is in Him, Jesus. He is the bread of life (John 6:35;48), so we find the essence of life and the power to bestow life is in Him, because the life was the Light of men. This verse starts, originates, and ends with Christ Jesus, the Light of men.
Today as we take a moment in prayer, let us take into consideration Jesus the bread of life, let us take into consideration who we are and what we have, what Christ provides for us and may the grace of God find us grateful unto the glory of God.
Let us be mindful that all hope is in Christ, the bread of life, may the good Lord enable you to catch it, let us be mindful in our prayers that in Him was life [and the power to bestow life], and the life was the Light of men.
