“…Look! Water!…”
“As they continued along the road, they came to some water; and the eunuch exclaimed, “Look! Water! What forbids me from being baptized?” Acts 8:36 (Amp)
Today the Lord in the book of Acts introduces us to the Ethiopian Eunuch on a desert road in the south that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza, and the scripture says, As they continued along the road, they came to some water; and the eunuch exclaimed, “Look! Water! What forbids me from being baptized?”
Today as we take a few moments in our prayers, as we thoroughly experience the message and the divine encounter of the Ethiopian eunuch, may the Lord allow us to see ourselves, may the Lord allow us to see an opportunity to reach others for Christ!
Let us be the ones that come to the water and exclaim Look! Water!, Let there be no concern or intimidation because of our lack of knowledge or experience with God, but let us be eager to ask what forbids me from being baptized, Let us be eager to exclaim, Look! Water!
