“…Unless You Are Circumcised…”

“Some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised in accordance with the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” Acts 15:1 (Amp)

Today’s chapter brings us into a heated debate about requiring the new Gentile converts to be circumcised and observe the Law of Moses, the scripture says, Some men came down from Judea and began teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised in accordance with the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us be thankful for the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that His work on the cross is complete, knowing that His blood covers our sins and brings us into the presence of God. He paid the cost for our salvation, He is the ultimate sacrifice and there is no one worthy but Him and because of that we have the right to salvation!

Let us in our prayers honor God for His son Jesus, let us be mindful that Christ died on the cross for our sins and we now have complete access to God, because of Christ’s finished work!

May the Lord continue to lead us by His Spirit to live and follow His divine will, our salvation is in Christ alone, not some men, not circumcision nor the customs of Moses alone, but in the precious blood of Jesus Christ!
