“…It Is He Who Has Also Put His Seal On Us…”
“it is He who has also put His seal on us [that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His] and has given us the [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as a pledge [like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life].”

For the last few weeks, directly after Pentecost Sunday, we have shared in our online fellowship about the Holy Spirit, which is the gift of the Father(Lk 24:49) and today we learned that the same gift of the Father, this same Holy Spirit puts a seal on us as a deposit to the guarantee of the fulfillment of God’s promise of eternal life, scripture says, it is He who has also put His seal on us [that is, He has appropriated us and certified us as His] and has given us the [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as a pledge [like a security deposit to guarantee the fulfillment of His promise of eternal life].
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, even in the midst of civil unrest and the affects and effects of COVID19, let us give thanks and praise to God because He has already worked things out for our good and in our best interest!
Let us take comfort and be reminded as God continues to reveal His living truth that, it is He who has also put His seal on us!
