“…We Have Not Stopped Praying For You…”
“For this reason, since the day we heard about it, we have not stopped praying for you, asking [specifically] that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [with insight into His purposes], and in understanding [of spiritual things],” Colossians 1:9 (Amp)
Today we are in the book of Colossians and throughout this entire book Apostle Paul is ministering against syncretism or false teachings that combine ideas of other philosophies and religions with Christian truth. So today God’s Word says, For this reason, since the day we heard about it, we have not stopped praying for you, asking [specifically] that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom [with insight into His purposes], and in understanding [of spiritual things],
As we take a moment in our prayers, let our prayers be for those who combat errors in the Church and most importantly let us be in prayer for those who have fallen prey to a mixed message, may the Lord enable them to come into knowing and understanding that believers have everything they need in Christ.
Let us be mindful and continue in our prayers to discern and live Christian truth, because believers have everything they need in Christ Jesus, let us continue in our declarations that we have not stopped praying for you!
