“…For His Divine Power…”
“For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1:3 (Amp)
Today we move into the book of 2nd Peter, in this book Apostle Peter is warning the people about false teachings and strongly encouraging them to grow in their faith and the knowledge of Christ, the scripture says, For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
Today as we take time in our prayers, let’s reflect on the fact that we have everything necessary for a dynamic spiritual life and godliness, because of God’s divine power that has been bestowed upon us which gives us true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His glory and excellence.
Who we are and what we have is fully and completely about the Lord, He has bestowed upon us His divine power, He has made sure that we have absolutely everything necessary for a dynamic spiritual life and godliness because of a true and personal knowledge of Christ who called us by His glory and excellence. As we ponder what the Lord has done for us, as we ponder who we are in and for Christ, let’s be mindful that it is not all about us, but it is about Him. Let’s continue to live and see His divine power bestowed upon us, let’s see and experience everything necessary for a dynamic spiritual life and godliness made manifest as we are called by Christ, by His glory and excellence, because of grace we possess a precious faith in Him!
As the Lord leads us, let us continue to live a life infused for His divine power!
