“…There Was Silence In Heaven…”
“When He (the Lamb) broke open the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour [in awe of God’s impending judgment].” Revelation 8:1 (Amp)
Today we find ourselves in the 8th chapter of the book of Revelations, this chapter announces and implements the start of the seventh seal and its seven judgements, scripture says, When He (the Lamb) broke open the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour [in awe of God’s impending judgment].
Today as we go into prayer, pray for your answer to the question, where is your hope? There were already six seals opened, The Conqueror, war, famine, death, martyrs, and terror. If we are without hope in God, then the thought of these seals may cause fear, overwhelming fear, only if there is no hope in God. Please take your time and read this chapter, read the entire bookaccount. In this silence, the commentary says the only activity was the prayers of the saints.
So let’s be mindful to affirm our hope in God, let’s take full advantage of the gift and opportunity to pray, even if there was silence in heaven!
