“…God Meant It For Good…”
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present outcome, that many people would be kept alive [as they are this day].” Genesis 50:20 (Amp)
Today we come to the end of the Book of Genesis and a lot has transpired, but this gracious book ends revealing God’s expected end for Joseph, the one with the coat of many colors and it also reveals God’s preservation for the children of Israel. Joseph tells his brothers who had fell down before him in confession, … As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present outcome, that many people would be kept alive [as they are this day].
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s be reflective of God’s graciousness, because He allowed forgiveness, because He allowed preservation and restoration. In the life and legacy of Joseph the dreamer, the owner of the coat of many colors, God’s fulfilled prophecy through the earnest and genuine heart of a man who was used of God so that many people would be kept alive!
Let the Lord lead your life, let the Lord bring you to the fulfillment of His divine purpose and call, so that you, just as Joseph can declare, but God Meant it for good!
