“…Levites, Listen to me!…”
“Then he said to them, “Levites, listen to me! Now consecrate (dedicate) yourselves and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and get the filth [of idol worship] out of the Holy Place.” 2 Chronicles 29:5 (AMP)
Today we encounter King Hezekiah and in our verse he is charging the Levites to listen, the scripture says, Then he said to them, “Levites, listen to me! Now consecrate (dedicate) yourselves and consecrate the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and get the filth [of idol worship] out of the Holy Place.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we are charged to consecrate ourselves, consecrate the house of the Lord, and get the filth of idol worship out of the Holy Place.
Let us be encouraged, let us be reminded to consecrate, not just ourselves, let us be reminded to get the filth of idol worship out of the Holy Place, because Then he said to them, “Levites, listen to me!
