“…Put A Cord Of Blue…”
“Speak to the sons of Israel and tell them to make for themselves tassels on the hems of their garments throughout their generations, and put a cord of blue on the tassel of each hem.” Numbers 15:38 (AMP)
Today we continue in the book of Numbers and in this chapter the Lord is ministering about proper offerings, laws for foreigners among the Israelites, punishment for breaking Sabbath, and finally divine instructions for tassels, the scripture says, “Speak to the sons of Israel and tell them to make for themselves tassels on the hems of their garments throughout their generations, and put a cord of blue on the tassel of each hem.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers and because we are serious about our relationship with the Lord and our confession of faith, the Lord is providing instructions to us and ministering today that we are to remember all the Lord’s Commandments and be holy (set apart) to God, through a reminder on the tassels on the hem of our garments , a cord of blue.
We may not wear physical tassels on the hem of our garments with a cord of blue, but we all live to remember all that God has commanded in our hearts, minds, and souls, so let’s be in prayer and continue to pray to honor God, as we wear a cord of blue!
