“…Only Be Very Careful…”
“Only be very careful and diligently observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord has commanded you to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul [your very life].” Joshua 22:5 (AMP)
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us be reminded that we just as the tribe of Rueben, Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh are encouraged and blessed to only be very careful as our scripture captures which says, Only be very careful and diligently observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord has commanded you to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul [your very life].”
I love our verse, it reminds us of God’s Great Commandment, it reminds us to only be very careful. In order for us to be very careful and diligent to keep, uphold, and possess God’s great commandment, we must remain placid, teachable, sensitive to God’s Spirit and prayerful. This enables us and prepares us to remain prayerful and only be very careful!
