“…Listen To The Voice Of The People…”
“The Lord said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them.” 1 Samuel 8:7 (AMP)
Today we continue in the precious book of 1st Samuel and we encounter the children of Israel demanding the Prophet Samuel to appoint a king to judge and rule over them like other nations, the scripture says, The Lord said to Samuel, “Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being King over them.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, would we or did we asked God to appoint a king to judge and rule over us, God has called us to be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. He has called us and desires that we be like no other nation, let us pray long and hard so that we do not reject God from being King over us, because God listens to the voice of the people!
