“…That Man Was Blameless And Upright…”
“There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God [with reverence] and abstained from and turned away from evil [because he honored God].” Job 1:1 (AMP)
Today in God’s word we move into the life and testimony of Job, a very familiar story from the Old Testament scriptures, the scripture says, There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God [with reverence] and abstained from and turned away from evil [because he honored God].
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, Job reminds us today to fear and reverence God, he reminds us to abstain from and turn away from evil because we honor God. Today let’s continue to reach to live blameless and upright lives, because that man was blameless and upright lives!
