“…Be Gracious To Me…”
“Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious merciful to me,For my soul finds shelter safety in You, And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge be confidently secure Until destruction passes by.” Psalm 57:1 (AMP)
Today the Lord allows us to get a glimpse of King David’s prayer of rescue as he fled from King Saul. Today King David prays and he simply ask God to be gracious, the scripture says, Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious merciful to me,For my soul finds shelter safety in You, And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge be confidently secure Until destruction passes by.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s be mindful to petition God to be gracious, let’s be mindful to petition God, so that our souls find shelter and safety in God and in the shadow of His wings. Today let our prayer, declare just as King David, be gracious to me!
