“…So David Was Their Shepherd…”
“So [David] was their shepherd with an upright heart; he guided them by the discernment and skillfulness [which controlled] his hands.” Psalm 78:72 (AMPC)
Today we read in the book of Psalms it shares the mighty acts of God in the wilderness, we experience God’s response to His chosen people and we are reminded of King David as shepherd, the scripture says, “So [David] was their shepherd with an upright heart; he guided them by the discernment and skillfulness [which controlled] his hands.”
Today as we take a moment in prayer, we are reminded to petition God for an upright heart as discernment and skillfulness control our hands. Today we honor and thank God for His discernment, we honor and thank God for the ability to skillfully control our hands, we in no way take this for granted declaring, so David was their shepherd!
