“…Surely His Salvation Is Near…”
“Surely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, [and is ready to be appropriated] that [the manifest presence of God, His] glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.” Psalm 85:9 (AMPC)
Today we encounter a Psalm of the sons of Korah, we know the sons of Korah have a not so favorable history, but scripture shows they understand the importance of salvation, reverence, worship, and fear of God, the scripture says, “Surely His salvation is near to those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him, [and is ready to be appropriated] that [the manifest presence of God, His] glory may tabernacle and abide in our land.”
Today we thank God for the opportunity and the privilege for God’s salvation to be near, we thank God for the humility and wherewithal to seek God reverently and worshipfully fearing Him, knowing of His manifest presence and glory that abides.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers we honor, reverence, and glorify God for His manifest presence and for His glory that abides, because surely His salvation is near!
